Yesterday, a large group of young people woke up early and trooped to Eternal Gardens Memorial Park in Balintawak to pay tribute to a fallen teammate. You see, it was the first anniversary of the death of Kenji Kanai, the high school basketball player killed in a vehicular accident in front of the Ateneo de Manila University early Saturday morning last July.
