Superintendent Genesis Tolejano, town police chief, said Esteban Obzunar, 34, fisherman, and a resident of Bagong Silang street, San Jose, Navotas was found dead by colleagues in territorial waters off the Navotas coast.

Records showed the victim was last seen around noon when he came home for lunch and later went back to tending their mussel pond.

An LPG tank on board his boat could have caused the alleged explosion, probers said.
