[Summary] => (This week, the author gives way to an article by Peter Bangayan.)
The Japanese term "bonsai" literally means "container" or "tray gardening." It is used to denote the miniaturization of trees and plants by way of confinement and pruning of the roots and shoots. Bonsai gardening uses many tools such as wires for training the plant and special cutters to prune roots and shoots. Bonsai gardening is an art form and there are many different styles of bonsai.

[Title] => Your online cactus mall
[Summary] => As growers and collectors of cacti and succulents, many of us strive to continuously enhance our knowledge of these fascinating plants. I find that as we learn more about the plants, the more interested we become, and the hobby becomes even more enjoyable. Of course, we learn a lot from actual experience, cultivating these plants and seeing them grow. Some of us may have a C&S book or two, and these are invaluable in helping us understand and appreciate our plants even more.

[Title] => Big ideas comes in mini dish gardens
[Summary] => Last Sunday, we had our second Cactus & Succulent Society meeting for the year. Chit Rufo and Sally Obien hosted the event at the Manila Seedling Bank in Quezon City. We had a decent turnout with about 30 members attending. What was especially gratifying for me was seeing all the new members joining the society, including some from out of town, like Jefferson Patiag who came all the way from Nueva Ecija just to attend our meeting. What was even better was the impact the new members had that day.
