Spanish Ambassador to the Philippines Jorge Domecq hosted the celebrations for La Fiesta Nacional de España, also known as the Dia de la Hispanidad or National Day, at his residence in North Forbes in Makati City. Observed every 12th of October, La Fiesta Nacional de España commemorates the day when Christopher Columbus first set foot in the Americas in 1492.
