[Title] => Why Boyet is running
[Summary] => He’s well-entrenched as the country’s foremost drama actor, in-demand both for movies and TV dramas (his latest having been the ABS-CBN soap Maging Sino Ka Man). So, many people wonder, why did Christopher "Boyet" de Leon have to stray away from his comfort zone and plunge into the murky (chaotic and uncertain) waters of Philippine politics?

[Title] => A generous serving of Chiz
[Summary] => Say "Chiz!" and flash a winning/winsome smile.
That should be the catchline for senatoriable Francis "Chiz" Escudero’s print and TV ads because in all of them he’s wearing the boyish smile that has become his trademark.
"With his following," said Regal Matriarch Mother Lily half-jokingly, "Chiz can cross over from politics to showbiz. He’s my newest Regal Baby."

[Title] => A man in a woman's world
[Summary] => Do women hold the monopoly for vanity?
No.
Men, too, are vain. Only, most of them hide in the closet, never wanting to be discovered that yes, they also use, uhmm, anti-aging creams. Some of the men I know are the culprits why their wives’ beauty products are emptied fast, so fast that they end up having tighter, firmer and more lifted skin than their wives. They sometimes connive with their wives not to tell others about this seemingly sacred secret  even as a jest  for fear that they will be the butt of joke.

[Title] => Tale of the yearbook
[Summary] => For a while, with a heap of amusement, I stared at the graduation photograph of a young man  barely 16 though not necessarily looking sweet  in his yearbook. The zigzag bangs of his wavy hair landed on his wide forehead. His eyes were really a little chinky but on the shooting day for that grad pic, he managed to dilate them. His charcoal-black eyebrows were thick that at closer scrutiny they seemed unruly. His lips were plump that with a slight moving of his muscles in the mouth, he already appeared smiling.

[Title] => 'Tay, first honor po ako!
[Summary] => The news was enough for me to jump for joy and somersault in exultation. My heart was leaping as my nine-year-old niece Paopao broke to me the news over the phone that her cousin Gabby, who just turned six, is graduating first honor in her kindergarten class in a public school in Laguna. This piece of good news spread like wildfire. Every member of our family was so into it that Globe and Smart  because we live far away from each other  was part of our early celebration.

[Summary] => A thick curtain of raindrops tries to hide the beauty of Madrid from us the moment we arrive in the city a little before midnight. But no amount of pouring can steal the allure of Madrid from two travelers who have palpable excitement, let alone resolute will, to reconnect with Spain.
