SINGAPORE  (AFP) — A Filipina maid arrested in Singapore in connection with the death of a compatriot has been released on bail, police said Tuesday. 


"She has been released on bail pending ongoing investigations," police spokeswoman Sandra Yip told Agence France Presse. 


The maid, whose name was not disclosed by police, was arrested Friday after a fellow Filipina with whom she had a dispute was found dead at the bottom of a highrise apartment block after an apparent fall.
