These two plants cater mostly to the food  and beverage sectors in Vietnam.

                    [Summary] => San Miguel Beer Vietnam Ltd. (SBUL), a unit of food and beverage giant San Miguel Corp., has asked Vietnamese authorities to allow the increase in its beer production  to one million hectoliters, company officials said.


The move would enable SBVL to import flavors for carbonated softdrinks until such time that the local flavor producers can meet the firm’s quality standards.  SBVL commenced operations in 1996.

SMC is hoping to put up a meat processing facility in Dong Nai province, which has earlier issued an investment license to the food and beverage giant.
