CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A special police task force is tracking down the other suspects in Wednesday’s ambush-killing of the eldest son of the mayor of Apalit town.

The victim, Roy Lacanilao, 34, son of Apalit Mayor Tirso Lacanilao, was on his way home when he was waylaid by armed men on board an unlicensed Toyota Vios early Wednesday morning.

On the same day, a suspect, Raymundo Dominguez, 22, was arrested in Calumpit, Bulacan. He tested positive for gunpowder burns in a paraffin test. A baby M-16 rifle was seized from him.
