[Summary] => The Quezon City Treasurers Office has confiscated 300 more defective weighing scales in a series of operations at various public markets in the city as part of the city governments crackdown on unscrupulous vendors.
City treasurer Dr. Victor Endriga said most of the defective scales were seized from stalls at Nepa Q-mart, where a task force on weight and scales have been conducting operations in the last few days.
"On orders of Mayor Feliciano Belmonte Jr., we are intensifying our campaign against erring vendors," Endriga said.
