MALOLOS CITY - A four-cornered fight for the Bulacan governorship looms as Vice Gov. Aurelio Plamenco announced that he is joining the race.


Speaking before capitol employees in Monday’s flag-raising ceremony, Plamenco denied reports that he is retiring, saying that he is joining the United Opposition (UNO) in his apparent bid to become its local standard bearer. 


He said he would team up with actor-senior board member Daniel Fernando.

                    [Summary] => MALOLOS, Bulacan — After a long wait due to the slow canvassing of election returns from San Jose del Monte City, re-electionist Gov. Josefina de la Cruz and Vice Gov. Au-relio Plamenco were finally proclaimed winners in the province.


The two won their third and last terms. They were proclaimed by lawyer Gregorio Larrazabal, provincial election supervisor, in simple rites at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center here Thursday night.
