Recently, the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) has decided to identify 10 priority sports and 150 athletes who will be given special attention in terms of allowances, intensive training and coaching in the Philippines and overseas and competitions abroad, among other benefits.

Leading the awardees was the SM Group of Companies, represented by Jessamine Jimenez, senior vice president for operations.
