The funny part of this whole thing was that these bumbling Manila policemen obviously thought they could earn brownie points for doing their job. The five policemen, who were not even in uniform, later claimed they were merely going to serve the warrant of arrest to Mia last Monday at the Palace Press Office.

Malacañang released to the Palace Press Office yesterday Mrs. Arroyo’s brief message to Clinton, who became her classmate during a two-year stint at Georgetown University in Washington DC.
"I am sad to read about your projected bypass operation but I am also glad you are in high spirits," Mrs. Arroyo wrote.
