[Title] => Havaianas in heaven
[Summary] => After wrestling your way through a crowded airport, commuting through the heat and arriving to find out you couldn’t even check-in in your hotel yet to unwind, it’s easy to forget that Boracay is a vacation destination.

[Title] => Survivor Shu-Nami-Moto!
[Summary] => "It’s Survivor Shu-Nami-Moto Year 5!" quipped one participant at the annual Shu-Nami-Moto weekend celebrations at Diniwid Beach, Boracay, likening it to the famous reality TV show. Only, in this case, the battle was more about making sure you were adept with your party and dress-up skills or else you were not going to last.
Weekend hostess and darling friend, Shu Uemera’s Tina Tinio, pointed out to me that, from the original batch of participants five years ago, it was only buddy Tim Yap and myself who have attended all five events.

[Title] => Some like it hot
[Summary] => For those who’ve come to the Boracay party late in life, here’s a short intro: Pack as many suits as you can, skip the dark eyeliner and load up on yummy lipsticks, and leave those trashy novels at home. You’ll end up people-watching anyway.

[Title] => In Moto-mode luxury
[Summary] =>
When it comes to the ultimate luxurious fashion escape, no one does it like the Shu-Nami-Moto way. From a 35-minute flight via Seair to Boracay’s pride, Nami Resort, to a personal Nami butler, to the 24-hour buffet of Nami favorite dishes, to the unlimited treatments at the newly added spa, to the flowing amounts of Moet & Chandon and Premier Wines Liquors, it was a weekend of ultimate indulgence. The only rule was, there were no rules but to have fun!

[Title] => Twelve-step beach program
[Summary] => The weekend statistics: at least a hundred bottles of Veuve Cliquot champagne, 10 dozen massages, a few dozen gallons of bubble bath soap, 40 Motorola mobile phones, 15 kilos of salmon sashimi, copious amounts of Tanqueray gin, the list goes on. No, this was not the grocery list of one of Dolce & Gabbanas infamous yacht parties over the coast of Italy.

[Title] => Boracay is the closest thing to paradise
[Summary] => Its not easy to discover an island that excites all the senses all together. Where many fail, Boracay succeeds. Less than an hours flight from Cebu via Asian Spirit, Boracay comes close to what many consider to be paradise. And, it seems to get better with every visit.
The setting is magnificent, with seven miles of white powder beach dotted with nipa huts of all types and sizes, that crouch among the coconut and palm trees. The water is clear and warm, and its a joy just to wade in, swim or even perhaps snorkel in it.
