[Summary] => Several weeks ago, my husband had a craving for Thai food. I knew a place nearby so off we went. It was almost 11 a.m., the place looked open, the waiters ready, so I politely asked the man who was blocking the entrance (in his best Mr. Clean pose) if, indeed, they were open. He looked at me for a second then–and I don’t know how he did this so smoothly–he looked right through me. Okaaaay. It was going to be one of those encounters.
