The weather bureau yesterday warned residents in Mindanao and Central Visayas of possible flashfloods and landslides as two weather systems will bring more rains over these areas in the next three days.

Hajan said the Cebu City government is convinced of the need to adopt his proposal, but advised that the sites and sources of funds be discussed after the election period.

"We want sites and if the four cities do not have funds maybe we can tap the help of the national government or rich Muslim countries," he said.
