                    [Summary] => CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet — A campaigner of a losing mayoral candidate in Abra was gunned down in front of his house in the capital town of Bangued last Monday morning, police said.


Police identified the victim as Rolando Gavanes, a campaigner of mayoral bet Flor Bernos, an aunt of re-elected Mayor Ysrael Bernos.


Probers said Gavanes was shot with an M-14 rifle and a shotgun, as evidenced by the empty shells found in front of his house in Barangay San Anto—nio.
