[Title] => ‘No evidence of Alma’s infidelity presented in court’
[Summary] => The lawyers of Parañaque City Mayor Joey Marquez yesterday denied that any evidence of actress Alma Moreno’s infidelity to Marquez was presented in court during the annulment hearings that concluded with the dissolution of their marriage.

The marriage of Marquez and Moreno, Vanessa Lacsamana in real life, was annulled after the Parañaque City court declared it null and void ab initio (from the start).

This was why, he told reporters Tuesday, he chose to have their marriage annulled than file adultery charges against her.

Trial began two weeks ago, Marquez said, and the prosecution has started to present their evidence before Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Helen Ricafort.

Marquez has yet to attend a hearing, but said he would most probably be called to the witness stand next week.
