[Summary] => A suspect in the killing of a fish trader at the Navotas Fishport Complex last year fell into the hands of the authorities yesterday in Navotas.
PO2 Dante Majadas, officer on case, said a team led by SPO4 Mario Arias, Warrant and Follow-Up Unit chief, collared Sonny Sungal, 31, of Market 3, Navotas Fishport Complex.
Sungal, was the main suspect in the robbery try that led to the killing of fish trader Arnel Camua 42, in August last year.
He has been charged with murder and illegal possession of a firearm before the Navotas Prosecutors Office.

Police identified the victim as Perlito Bacolod, of Banak street in Dagat-Dagatan.
Bacolod was reportedly fixing his motorcycle in front of his house when a gunman wearing dark sunglasses approached him from behind and shot him without saying a word at around 8:15 a.m.
The suspect grabbed the victims gold necklace and fled.

[Summary] => Police have arrested a fisherman in the coastal town of Navotas for manufacturing illegal explosives for use in illegal fishing operations. Superintendent Billy Beltran, Navotas police chief, identified the suspect as Jason Alegre, 20, of 2 Interior Davila street in Barangay Tabing Dagat West.
A police team led by Chief Inspector Michael Angelo Sunega with SPO4 Mario Arias and SPO3 Wilmor Alamani seized from Alegre 21 bottles of the homemade explosives.
"The 21 bottles of softdrinks were filled with ammonium nitrate used in illegal fishing," Sunega said.
