The BAP office at the second floor of the Philippine Sports Commission administrative building was padlocked last month as a result of the raging dispute between the BAP and the Philippine Olympic Committee.

Atty. Maribel Rodriguez, head of the PSC’s legal department, said they’ve already sought the help of the court in easing out the beer joints that have proliferated in  the area near the quarters and the training venue of the members of the national pool.

                    [Summary] => The Philippine Sports Commission and the Department of Health yesterday buried all the apprehensions regarding the implementation of Executive Order 441 "delegating to the Secretary of Health the power to exercise oversight functions over the PSC."


The executive order was signed by President Arroyo in July last year but was not immediately implemented because of the country’s hosting of the 23rd Southeast Asian Games. Now it has to be implemented.
