With all the bad news we’ve been overdosing on lately (for as long as I can remember, it seems), Filipinos  can’t  help but be in a losing mode. I doubt if our hosting the SEA Games would make a difference. But take heed, there are times when the heavens send us reminders that there are still things out there that can be a source of pride for our disgruntled  nation.
