[Title] => U-turn scheme in Libis next week
[Summary] => Despite the criticisms over the U-turn slots, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will implement the traffic scheme on a portion of C-5 Road in Libis starting next week.
MMDA traffic chief Angelito Vergel de Dios said construction of the U-turn slots in front of Eastwood, The Spa, and Acropolis Subdivision had been scheduled last night.
"Well most likely start the U-turn slots in C-5 by Monday," Vergel de Dios said.
With the U-turn slots, turning left to Marikina from Blue Ridge in front of The Spa would be prohibited, he added.

[Title] => 6 roads targeted in MMDA experiments
[Summary] => The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is set to convert six major thoroughfares into giant "rotundas" as part of the experiments aimed at improving the flow of traffic.
MMDA General Manager Robert Nacianceno said the experiments would be implemented next month on Gil Puyat Avenue (formerly Buendia), South Superhighway, Quirino Avenue, Quezon Avenue, Shaw Boulevard and the entire stretch of EDSA.
Dubbed as the Clearway System, the scheme intends to reduce or completely eliminate all stops at intersections of major thoroughfares.
