Aspirants in the dragonboat and canoe-kayak competitions have breached the 700 mark, easily the biggest turnout among 38 national sports associations participating in the ongoing second Philippine Olympic Committee (POC)-Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) National Games.

The Boracay Sun Paddlers continued their winning streak and claimed the top spot in the men’s open category by clocking two minutes, 14 seconds in the last heat. The team dominated the first two heats Friday.

Bugsay Boracay, another men’s team from the island, finished second in 2:21. Manila Paddlers came in third in 2:24.
