[Title] => A portrait of Claudio Bravo as an artist
[Summary] => Im quite sure it was Tessie Luz who gave me a call and told me about Claudio Bravo, a Chilean artist who was in the Philippines for a visit. Tessie, I soon found out, was gathering women who wanted their portraits done. Since I never had a formal portrait done, I agreed. In fact, I only had a pastel of Mai and myself. Heres how it happened.

[Summary] => A little Hollywood anecdote: Gwyneth Paltrows first visit to Paris at eight years of age was with her daddy, Bruce Paltrow, and it was just the two of them, staying at the Ritz and eating at fancy French bistros. When she asked why he didnt take her mom and brother along, he answered, "Because Gwynnie, I would like you to see Paris for the first time with a man who will always love you."

[Title] => Molanos jewel of an exhibit
[Summary] => Time stands still when jewelry artist Celia Molano creates her unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Crafted from antique beads, excavated stones and rare found artifacts in combination with modern, and even indigenous materials, Celias jewelry has been described variously by critics as "audacious," "lavish, florid, bold, innovative" and "exquisite." [Title] => What a difference Anton Rodriguez Mendoza makes
[Summary] => When a client asked Anton Mendoza to help the couple design the interiors of their home, Anton tried...then he had to tell them the truth. He could only help them, he said, if they built a new house, changed the floor plans and redid the entire structure. Two years later, the house in Forbes Park stands as proof that Antons passion for beauty is in his work.

[Title] => Gonzalo Martin-Calero’s color magic
[Summary] => An unusual combination of vibrant colors and a sense of calm touched my senses as soon as I was inside the Luz Gallery. On view is the exhibition of paintings, collages and drawings of Spanish painter Gonzalo Martin-Calero.
Imagine all these primary colors of red, blue, green and yellow tamed into delicate compositions that inspire equanimity and reflection. Then the question comes to mind: So what is it that seems to calm these bold colors? That, I had to find out from Martin-Calero himself.
