[Title] => Five loaves and two fish
[Summary] => "There is a small boy here with five barley loaves and two fish, but what is that among so many?" Jesus said to the apostles, "Make the people sit down." They filled 12 hampers with scraps left over. How many times have we heard it said: "I wouldnt mind helping out, but I just dont have enough time." Or maybe: "What could I do? There are plenty of people with far more time, talent, and experience than I have."

[Title] => December 8 and Mama Mary
[Summary] => Today, we set aside all else first and remember the Immaculate Conception of our Mama Mary.
A beautiful virgin with so much of her youth and life ahead, she consented to let God's will be done by agreeing to be our Lord Jesus Christ's mother here on earth. Not an easy decision to make. So much humiliation, public censure, and sacrifice were part of her saying yes to God and His messenger.
She was unmindful of what others would say, however. All she was concerned about was whether she was worthy to do God's will.

As I glanced through the mail, some words on a card from a charitable organization caught my eye. We Need Your Discards! The meaning was straightforward and simple: Whatever you dont want, well take. Those household items you call rubbish, rejects, throwaways, and junk, well use to help people in need.

[Title] => Keep the romance
[Summary] => Keep yourselves in the love of God. JUDE 21
The great American statesman and lawyer William Jennings Bryan (1860-1925) was having his portrait painted. The artist asked, "Why do you wear your hair over your ears?"
Bryan responded, "There is a romance connected with that. When I began courting Mrs. Bryan, she objected to the way my ears stood out. So, to please her, I let my hair grow to cover them."
"That was many years ago," the artist said. "Why dont you have your hair cut now?"
