I’m sort of running out of adjectives to describe last Saturday’s Mizuno-Asia Miles Sinulog Half-Marathon. But anyway you call it, the event means just one word “success”.

An ankle injury brought multi-awarded, multi-champion runner and talented athlete Leszl Gitaruelas to her knees.

The Philippines had a very realistic chance of taking the top honors with Leszl Gitaruelas running at speeds of 1 hour and 23.23. She took victory in the 21-kilometer Davao Milo Marathon.
