I recently had coffee with someone who was only allowed to go back to his country after 28 years.  He left Palestine as a single man and returned with a wife, three children, and five grandchildren in Jordan. He couldn’t reenter his homeland and waited for almost three decades to receive the necessary approval to go back.

Laguna and Manila fought to a goal-less draw but the former defeated the latter, 2-0, in the preliminaries to cop the silver medal. The host squad settled for the bronze.
