A day after towing his RP squad, also composed of CJ Suarez and Biboy Rivera, to the lead of the men’s team event, Valdez made it all the way from 13th to second place in the singles event of the Boysen, Philippine Sports Commission, Kegel Asia and AVIVA sponsored tournament.

                    [Summary] => Members of the national team showed the way in the 32nd Boysen-PBC International Open Bowling Championships, which kicked off Friday at the Green Valley Country Club in Pasig.


The Boysen-Euromed trio of Irene Benitez, Jojo Canare and Liza Del Rosario dominated Bowlmart’s Liza Clutario, Yap Seok Kim and Cecilia Yap, 1186-1121, to take the early lead in the ladies team event (class O) while Al Dy, Freddie Alcaraz and Jack Interia scored 1193 pins to take the upperhand in the men’s side over the threesome of Elmer de Leon, Papio de Dios and Toss Renacia (1148).
