Bagamat inuulan ng protesta dahil sa masasamang tawag, napanatili ng Thailand ang kanilang pananalasa habang naiwanan tulala ang ibang bansa kabilang na ang Pilipinas na nakakuha ng isang silver at 2 bronze sa pinal na araw ng aksiyon sa taekwondo.

Nakasilver si Loraine Lorelie Catalan sa 51kg class habang nasungkit naman nina Carlos Jose Padilla at Kathleen Eunice Alora ang bronze para isara ng Team Philippines taekwondo ang kanilang kampanya sa 1 gold, 4 silvers at 6 bronze.
