[Title] => Mar Roxas can become president sans negative campaigning
[Summary] => One — I want to see the dawn of a new type of political campaigning in the Philippines where candidates, especially presidential candidates, sell themselves to the voters on the basis of real values that they can offer.

[Summary] =>

[Title] => At least, their system works
[Summary] => I dont know if it could have happened in the Philippines. There may be many things wrong with America today particularly how the religious right appears to have captured Washington and is making society less tolerant of individual differences. But when they say they have a government of laws, not men, they do seem to mean it.

[Title] => By George, hes got it!
[Summary] => "By George, youve got it!" that famous line by Professor Henry Higgins in the musical My Fair Lady seems to apply to George W. Unless he fouls up in the next two debates, it looks to me like he is going to win. I agree with most analysts that the first debate was a draw. Neither candidates scored a homerun nor a knockout. But Bush held the high ground because as President, he had a firm command of the realities of foreign policy.
