When  Fort Bonifacio was privatized during the Ramos administration, its first locator was Fort Ventures Inc. owned by Juan Miguel Laurel, from the famous Laurel clan of Batangas, who put up the first franchised store of Dencio’s. After two and a half  years,  Laurel backed out from Dencio’s and renamed the place  Jaymi’s Fort Grill. The casual but elegant restaurant was named after his second son, Jaymi.
