Aklan Gov. Jovencio Miraflores described the seizure and the arrest of three suspects as a "victory" of the strict enforcement of security measures in the top tourist destination.

                    [Summary] => A police officer is in hot water for allegedly meddling in an operation by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in a KTV bar reportedly owned by an arrested "drug lord" in Bacolod City last month.


PDEA director Anselmo Avenido said they have called the attention of Philippine National Police chief Director General Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. on the alleged meddling of Superintendent Demothenes Fernandez. 


Interior and Local Government Secretary Jose Lina has also asked Ebdane to investigate the case.
