[Title] => The devil and the Nazarene
[Summary] => My good friends keep sending me words of wisdom, which they have found helpful. [Title] => The really great performers
[Summary] => My good old friend, Johnny Mercado, of the Philippine Press Institute, sent me "Classics of Bob Hope". I have always admired Bob because he was extremely simple, unpretentious, humble and he was always funny! He had a sense of humor that sprang from the marrow of his bones.
Once I attended the video-taping of his TV Show, in Hollywood. For about fifteen minutes before the show, before the taping began, he was warming up the audience. I do not think it was scripted. He was talking to all of us, spontaneously.
