Arrested by the Las Piñas police were Gilbert Rosales, Carlos Soriano, Joseph Santos, Jonathan Maniego, Diego Baluis, Arnel Candasa, Michael Valle, and Joel Villamor.
However, the suspects were given reprieve by Villar herself who had decided not to pursue charges against the youths.
