The 27-year-old Aguilar is coming off his most successful year in motocross. Last season, Aguilar became the first and only Filipino to have ever won the Asian FIM crown–the region’s most prestigious title.

                    [Summary] => Rider of the Year Ernie Leongson pounced on another misfortune by chief rival Glenn Aguilar to rule the Clark Centennial Invitational Motocross 2002 at the Clark Economic Zone, Clarkfield in Pampanga on Saturday.


Leongson of Shell-Yamaha finished the first heat second to Aguilar but came back mightily to top the second heat to avenge his seventh leg Superferry Motocross series loss to the Caltex-Revtex-KTM rider in this two-day event organized by the Hartebeest Entertainment Corp.
