                    [Title] => Father, daughter die in Las Piñas fire
                    [Summary] =>

A father and his four-year-old daughter were killed early yesterday in a fire believed caused by faulty electrical wiring that was sparked by Christmas lights in the house.

Fire Officer Noel Consignado, the case’s investigator, said Jeffrey Hernandez, 35, and daughter Bianca, were sound asleep when the fire broke out at 4:42 a.m.

It was too late for them to escape when they woke up because the fire had already spread throughout the house, located in BF Homes Subdivision in Las Piñas City.
