[Title] => Please dont wrap the bread, were Filipinos
[Summary] =>
With all the talk on global warming, I have become more conscious of environmental concerns in my daily life. What can a single individual do in this massive campaign to save the earth? Plenty. Indeed, it is people, the collective bunch of individuals that are said to be most responsible for the environmental degradation.

[Title] => Merrill Lynch and Charter change
[Summary] => It isnt just because I am an advocate but it was good to read Merrill Lynch endorsing Charter change. Bankers, especially with the reputation of the London-based group, are usually not disposed to make political statements. Theyre there for the business regardless of the politics of a country so long as it is good business to invest there. It happens that good investments in the Philippines also need good politics. Investments require a sustaining and stable environment that we cannot have if we were to continue with the presidential system.

[Title] => Millennial thinking and a new leader for the Arab world
[Summary] => BANGKOK There are many reasons why countries flourish as there are many reasons why countries fail. If Charter change advocates have proposed a shift to parliamentary system, it is not because presidential systems cannot succeed. It can, as some of our colleagues, opposed to the shift, have already pointed out, citing South Korea and Taiwan. What it does mean, however, is it that the system failed in the Philippines. It is a problem of context and unless we see it that way, we can argue to kingdom come on what is a better system.
