[Title] => Appearance on the road to Emmaus
[Summary] => It’s the 3rd Sunday after Easter Sunday and today’s scripture reading has always been a favorite of mine because it gives us an idea what the disciples were thinking after they saw our Lord Jesus Christ crucified and dead on the cross. We can read about the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ on the road to Emmaus, which you can read in Luke 24:13-35.

[Title] => Third day of Holy Week
[Summary] => Holy Week is a great occasion to shift our attention from the Iraq war and SARS to our own homes and community. The war in Iraq is over but no one can really say that the Iraqis are better off. Their situation has shifted from a tyrannical rule to anarchy. We hope that the American forces succeed in enforcing peace, order and justice in the country. In the case of SARS, we are lucky that as of this writing, there has been no authenticated case of SARS in the Philippines.
