NANNING CITY — President Arroyo sought yesterday Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi’s intervention to revive the peace talks between the Philippines and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front during the two leaders’ bilateral meeting here.


Press Secretary Ignacio Bunye said Badawi also called for the resumption of talks as soon as possible, noting that the Prime Minister "was as eager as everybody" to see the negotiations move forward.
