A 22-year-old Nigerian student was detained for allegedly pouring beer over a compact disc player of a disco bar at the north reclamation area early yesterday morning, but he said it was accidental.


The Mabolo Police arrested Victor Solomon, an engineering student of one of the universities in the city, after the management of Halo disco bar reported the incident.


The establishment's employees, Jeff de Guzman and Richie Pulido, were the ones who initially held Solomon before turning him over to the police.
