[Title] => Tarlac officials bullish on natural gas discovery
[Summary] => VICTORIA, Tarlac The natural gas field discovered in this town, should its commercial viability be established, can eventually help local governments and the business community ease the high cost of living in Central Luzon.
According to Gov. Jose Yap Sr., the national government reported in 1999 that Region 3 (Central Luzon) had the highest cost of living in the country, outside Metro Manila. This, despite the presence of several special economic zones in the region.

[Title] => Tarlac town adopts 'Wild Wild West' formula against drug users,pushers
[Summary] =>
VICTORIA, Tarlac -- The hunt for suspected drug pushers and dependents has
reached even this far off town at the Tarlac-Nueva Ecija border.
The hunt, however, is far different from the shame campaign of Interior and
Local Government Secretary Alfredo Lim. Rather, it is more similar to the
"Wild, Wild West" campaign against criminals with posters screaming the words
"Wanted" and "Cash Reward."
Posters are now all over this hometown of Tarlac Gov.
