Police said victim Avino Idjao, 60, messenger, and a resident of Bagumbayan, Taguig, was killed after the Golden Hi-way bus he tried to board overtook another bus on the southbound lane of EDSA corner Ayala Avenue.

Case investigator SPO2 Carlos Sebastian Gonda of the Makati Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) said the accident happened at around 6 a.m.
