[Title] => The new Temple
[Summary] => Jesus was not really that mad; but He was consumed with zeal for his Fathers house. Picture the gentle Jesus with a whip in His hand chasing the sellers who had turned the holy Temple into a marketplace. We note, not with a little amusement, that the animals for sale oxen, sheep, doves, etc. were for sacrifice. The moneychangers were seated right there. The same scene could happen in Quiapo or Baclaran or any church where people take business advantage of the comings and goings of worshippers.

[Title] => Looking beyond the habit
[Summary] => Sister, is it all right if I leave my things here?" I heard myself ask then... "That sounded like I was in high school again," the whole class laughed. We were at a seminar given by Sister Dolores Mitch, a Maryknoll nun. Quite a few of us had been classmates way back when Maryknoll was not Miriam. Is there a Filipina who doesnt have a nun in her life? If we werent educated by them, we are related to them. We may have been their wards or part of their mission.
