[Title] => Learning about World War II history
[Summary] =>
For our special presentation on our talkshow on Straight from the Sky tonight, we bring you a discussion on the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) with Regional Director Antonio Decatroria. This discussion on the mandate of the HLURB should be of great interest to our viewers many of whom live in subdivisions or villages. Many of Cebu's subdivisions and villages suffer from that very ugly Pinoy trait, where subdivision officials often act like blue-blooded politicians instead of public servants, which they really are.

[Title] => Dual citizens: Targeted for corruption?
[Summary] => Theres no doubt that theres a lot of people who are against Charter change, but Im willing to bet it is only because they hate the Arroyo administration or they just dont want to change this country for the better. We have been for Charter change since the time of former President Fidel V. Ramos because weve strongly believed that there are too many defects in the present Constitution.

[Title] => 61 years ago: The battle of Go Chan Hill
[Summary] => Last Sunday was the 61st anniversary of the Talisay Landing by the Americal Division, brought to our shores by the 7th Fleet from Leyte. But like what we wrote last Friday, if it were not for the well-placed mines planted by the Japs in Tangke Beach that disabled 10 Landing Vehicle Tracked (LVTs) that brought the US soldiers ashore, that invasion would have been a walk in the park. But eight US soldiers died and 39 others were wounded because of the landmines. Nothing much happened after that, except for a brief skirmish in Pardo, a delaying tactic by the Japanese forces.
