[Title] => Is Summit Sports hiding?
[Summary] => What ever happened to Summit Sports World, Inc., the company that entered into agreement with NBN Channel 4 for the TV coverage of the PBA games in 2003? Are officials of the company in hiding? Why has the case suddenly died down, leaving an estimated P200-plus million in debt to the PBA, NBN, IBC-13 and several suppliers hanging in limbo?

[Title] => Summit wants single coverage of PBA games
[Summary] => Summit Sports World Inc. has sought a reduction of franchise fee for the broadcast rights of the PBA games so it may honor its financial obligations with network partners NBN-4 and IBC-13.
Summit Sports, with Edwin Lisandra as new president, also batted for a single network to cover the games or it would pull out of the project.
Officials of NBN-4 and Summit Sports discussed in a marathon meeting Thursday night ways to resolve financial problems hounding their partnership regarding the PBA broadcast deal.

[Title] => Crossed signals
[Summary] => Sports fans have taken a beating this week, as more and more news of unpaid debts and loose ends continue to plague sports coverage on television and print.
Yesterday was the deadline set by NBN 4 for Summit Sports World to pay off at least half of what it owes the network. That amounts to P 26 million of the total P 52 million.
"We already sent Summit a demand letter asking them to settle at least half of the amount they owe us by the end of October," says NBN chair Mia Concio.
