[Title] => Creepy, complex and compelling
[Summary] => X-Files creator Chris Carter must see something sinister about the cold. I remember the TV series as being almost always set in a cloudy place of perpetual chill. He also seems to have this thing about snow, white, pristine and shining but hiding dark secrets.

[Title] => Tamis-Anghang
[Summary] => My good friend Danny Almiranez was a freelance creative director when he came up in 1971 with the idea of "tamis-anghang" for UFC banana ketchup. Tamis-anghang instantly captured the imagination of consumers. It made UFC leapfrog from a local cottage industry to a megabrand of world-class status. It still is.
Danny suffered a stroke last year, which paralyzed the left side of his body. When he came to my office in a wheelchair, he looked gaunt and thin, his crew-cut hair sparse, with more whites where there was none before. I was crestfallen.
