President Gloria Arroyo yesterday called on the members of the Philippine Councilors' League to support Team Unity senatorial candidates, as she touted that the "blessings to the people" are bound to continue with their support.


The president told over 2,000 city councilors from all over the country during the Philippine Councilor's League 2007 End Term National Assembly that the country's uninterrupted economic growth should continue by 2008 in a program she called "8 for '08."

The President will then proceed to the Cebu Provincial Capitol to grace the Cebu Women's Day Celebration, during which various resolutions will be submitted to her.
