I have finally decided to have my hair chopped. I feel refreshed. My natural curls are back and I can celebrate them now that my friend, Cherry Reyes of Toni & Guy allowed them to curl naturally before snipping them. When my daughter Ella and I found ourselves in Raymond Isaac’s studio for a print shoot, I asked Raymond to kindly take a photo of me just for this column. I wanted you all to be updated with my new look. Hope you like it as much as I do.

I politely asked her what the rule was regarding TV before school and she replied, "Not allowed." I asked her what should be done next and she told me that it should be turned off but didn’t budge. I reminded her about the rule again and asked for the TV to be turned off but still, she didn’t obey. So I told her that I would turn it off but she would have to be disciplined for not obeying. It took us around 30 minutes to settle that issue. It brightens people’s day and sets the pace for a bright future. Experts say that it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. Smiling not only relieves stress, it also lessens the pressure on the facial muscles, which probably explains why people who smile often look a lot younger.
