[Summary] => I recently read Color for the Soul by Pam Rhodes. It’s a book of quotes from different people from different times. The book explains that every color will speak to you and tell you something. In every color, you will find something you need (red for relationships), something that will be of help (blue for for healing and comfort), something that will inspire you (yellow is for encouragement) and something that will make you hold on to your dreams (green is for growth and change). The quotes listed in the book are truly a balm to the soul. Here are some of my favorites.

Here are some of the passages that have warmed my heart. These have made me realize again how precious my friends are to me.

• The best mirror is an old friend. (George Herbert)

• Much of the vitality in a friendship lies in the honoring of differences, not simply in the enjoyment of similarities. (James Frederick)

• True friendship is seen through the heart, not through the eyes. (Unknown)
