[Title] => Ferrera bags 3rd RP gold in Thai Open
[Summary] => Vietnam SEA Games gold winner Arnel Ferrera gave another glimpse of his mighty form yesterday by ruling the hammer throw event in the Thailand Open Athletics championships that end today at the Thammasat University track and field stadium in Bangkok.
Ferrera, a PAF enlisted personnel, defeated two unnamed Thai opponents with a heave of 51.34-m and hardly felt the opposition in the seven-nation tournament that included powerhouse China, Iran, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Chinese-Taipei. His effort, however, fell short of his triumphant 55.28 record in Vietnam last December.
