[Title] => Useless Traffic Lights
[Summary] => Last Saturday, while I was at Eastwood City in Libis, Quezon City, where we held the 2nd Elimination Leg of the Business & Leisure Texas Hold Em Mall Tour Eastwood City Challenge as presented by Honda, I met someone who professed that she was an avid reader of my weekly columns here at The STAR (Motoring Today on Wednesdays and Business & Leisure on Saturdays).

[Title] => The B&L Poker Mall Tour rolls off
[Summary] => Last Saturday, Nov. 19, was the first day of the Business & Leisure Texas Holdem Mall Tour Eastwood City Challenge held in Libis, Quezon City. We wanted to bring the increasingly popular mind game of poker, specifically the current favorite of new and old players, the Texas Holdem variety, to popular venues to bring it closer to the people. Initially, we wanted to bring across the message that poker goes beyond the other card games and should not be lumped along with the very idea of gambling.

[Title] => Turning back the hands of time
[Summary] => Havent you noticed that lately, old international performers have been serenading our local audience, and the venues are usually jam-packed to the rafters with nostalgic folks aching to relive the good old times?

[Title] => OBR What a relief!
[Summary] => Just got back from a sortie with the bigwigs of local motoring in Japan for the Tokyo Motor Show. I was gone for almost a week, gaping at the latest automobile models many of them designed for the future, courtesy of Honda Cars Philippines. By Monday morning, I was back on the roads, ready for new battles to be fought in the corporate world but, being back home, I knew the first battle to reckon with was the ubiquitous Manila traffic. Being away for the better part of a week, I was shocked to find EDSA so navigable, on an early Monday afternoon!
